As we count down to GTA 6, I’ve been getting nostalgic about that iconic GTA art style I’ve always loved. I wanted to challenge myself! So I used a random character generator, I created these GTA-inspired pieces, reimagining some of our favourite characters in that gritty, cinematic world.

Really stoked to finally be able to bring this style to life—scroll through and let me know which character you’d want to see next in Los Santos!

Batman: The Dark Knight of Los Santos

Batman already operates on the edge of legality, so putting him in a GTA-inspired cityscape felt like the ultimate crossover. In this version, he’s standing in the shadows of an alley, looking out over the city with a brooding intensity that screams GTA vigilante. The muted city lights, gritty textures, and the hint of a Bat-signal glowing in the distance make this version of Gotham feel like a place that could easily exist in the GTA world. You can almost imagine him checking his inventory for batarangs or hopping onto a GTA-inspired Batcycle.

Scooby-Doo: Mystery Solving, Now with Street Cred

Scooby-Doo’s familiar, wide-eyed look seems even more intense when set against the backdrop of a quiet, dimly-lit neighborhood. The classic suburban streetlamp and palms hint at California’s chill, yet eerie ambiance, giving Scooby’s world a slight edge. Imagine Scoob and the gang cruising through this neighborhood in a GTA-style Mystery Machine, trying to avoid Wanted stars as they solve crimes. The blend of innocence and intensity brings a new level to Scooby-Doo’s iconic expression—less “ruh-roh” and more “let’s get to work.”

Larry David: The Reluctant Crime Boss?

Larry David, the ultimate straight-talking anti-hero, might be the last guy you’d expect to see in a GTA-inspired cityscape. But somehow, he fits right in. With his signature scowl and that “I-can’t-believe-this” look on his face, he could be the kind of GTA character who’d accidentally wind up running a neighborhood—complaining about the absurdities every step of the way. I placed him in a sprawling park with skyscrapers in the background, giving him a sense of reluctant authority. You can almost hear the Curb theme song…if it were a bit more rock and roll.

Superman: Faster Than the Law

Superman is already the ultimate symbol of justice, so it’s pretty wild to see him soaring over the streets of what could easily be a GTA-style Los Santos. In this version, he’s caught mid-flight, jaw set, gaze determined—ready to fight any crime, whether it’s a GTA street brawl or a high-stakes heist. The moody sunset gives him an extra dose of drama, with deep purples and reds painting the sky. It’s the kind of epic scenery Superman deserves, just with a darker edge. Man of Steel, meet the streets.

Winnie the Pooh: Honey Dealer on the Block

Winnie the Pooh is here, honey pot in hand, with a mischievous smile that suggests he’s about to make an “underground honey exchange.” It’s a funny twist to see Pooh, usually so innocent, in an urban landscape with city buildings behind him. This reinterpretation adds a humorous GTA-esque spin on his classic character. Imagine Pooh wandering into the wrong neighbourhood—only this time, instead of looking for Christopher Robin, he’s after a new honey supplier.

R2-D2: Lost in the Most Boring Open World Ever

R2-D2, the galaxy’s slowest droid, stuck rolling through a vast desert with absolutely nothing to do. No quests, no Jawas—just endless sand and a double sunsets.

The Mandalorian: Just a Bounty Hunter, No Big Deal

Mando looks right at home in this roadside scene in a desert landscape. It’s almost as if he’s about to walk into a cantina for a mission, ready to pick up a new bounty with a deadpan attitude. 

Ariel: Fish Out of Water in Los Santos

Ariel’s like a fish out of water in Los Santos—and doesn’t have much on her. Hopefully her seashells aren’t a hot item on the black market.

David Attenborough: “The Wildlife of Los Santos”

Couldn’t resist… I also did a David Attenborough in GTA style! Imagine him narrating the “wildlife” of Los Santos: “And here, we see the elusive NPC, wandering aimlessly…”
