Realistic Comic Covers

Categories: Art | Custom | Design | Featured

To this day I love reading comic books on my iPad, but I also remember paging through those old South African photo story books like Die Swart Luiperd and Ruiters in Swart. They weren’t drawn at all, the covers and the pages inside used real actors.

After seeing one of those books again recently, I thought it would be fun to take some of the most iconic comic book covers and remake them in a way that feels a little more real.

I ended up making so many, it was a lot of fun, but here are a few I wanted to share.
