Custom Posters for Shows I’d Love to See Modernised

Categories: Art | Design

For years, TV has been a treasure trove of entertainment, offering us beloved classics that linger in our memories. Recently, I’ve taken the liberty of breathing new life into some of these gems by creating custom posters for animated shows I’d love to see modernized. Here’s a look at six shows that deserve a stylish revival:

Growing up, Mega Man was one of my favorite games, blending challenging levels, memorable villains, and a hero with a futuristic charm. My poster for Mega Man envisions a 3D animated series, capturing the blue bomber’s timeless battles against Dr. Wily and his eclectic array of robot masters. This revitalized version could offer dynamic visuals, thrilling action, and a new story arc that speaks to today’s gamers.

Deadpool has always been known for its self-aware humor, breaking the fourth wall, and chaotic adventures.  This modern adaptation could provide vibrant, stylized action, sharp dialogue, and plenty of opportunities for Deadpool’s iconic quips.

My poster for The Matrix: Awakening envisions an animated series set directly after the events of the first film, diving into Neo’s journey as The One. This series could explore new facets of the Matrix’s digital world, blending thrilling visuals with philosophical questions about reality, control, and free will. The show’s modern animation could offer a fresh take on the beloved sci-fi universe.

Trigun was a beloved classic, blending sci-fi, action, and drama in a Wild West-inspired setting. This show could delve into his battles in the Badlands and offer visually stunning shootouts, engaging character development, and intense narratives, making it a thrilling revival.

Ghost Rider has been a staple of dark supernatural storytelling, following Johnny Blaze’s journey as the flaming-skulled vigilante. My poster for a modern Ghost Rider animated series imagines a vibrant, action-packed take on Blaze’s battles against the forces of darkness. This series could delve deeper into his backstory, offer intense animation, and explore new narratives, bringing Ghost Rider back to life in style.

Bravestarr was a unique blend of sci-fi and western, following the adventures of Marshal Bravestarr in the distant land of New Texas. My poster for Bravestarr imagines a visually stunning animated series, highlighting Bravestarr’s continued fight for justice, aided by his spirit animal powers. This updated version could explore new narratives while staying true to its roots, offering vibrant animation and thrilling stories.

Supergirl has long been an empowering figure, showcasing the adventures of Kara Zor-El as she navigates her superhero identity. This series could explore Supergirl’s place in modern society, dealing with the challenges of balancing her Kryptonian powers with her human life.

These custom posters represent my vision for revitalizing classic shows and movies, bringing them into the modern era with new animations, stories, and styles. Whether it’s the challenging levels of Mega Man, the self-aware humour of Deadpool, or the supernatural intrigue of Ghost Rider, these shows offer something for everyone. I hope these posters inspire you to revisit these classics or imagine new directions for them to explore.
