Neon Genesis Evangelion Revisited: Asuka Langley

Recently, I’ve been inspired to redesign the Asuka and Rei from Neon Genesis Evangelion, a highly celebrated anime from the mid-’90s. If you haven’t had the chance to watch it yet, I wholeheartedly encourage you to do so. My creative vision was to reimagine Asuka in a more contemporary fashion, particularly with regards to her signature suit.

Here is a clip from the Movie to showcase just how awesome and massive these EVA units are. The clip features three of them racing to take down “the bad guy.” However, these suits consume so much energy that they can only battle for 5 minutes before becoming useless.
